Red Carpet Charters takes the transport question off the organiser's desk. Tell us where the day starts, where it goes and how many are coming, and we put the right vehicle on it: a Mercedes-Benz V-Class for the executive team, a Sprinter for a department, a 25 or 57-seat coach for the whole company.

Hotel to venue in the morning, venue to the gala dinner at night, airport runs either side. Scheduled loops or dedicated vehicles, priced per vehicle. Conference logistics live or die on the transfers. Red Carpet Charters runs delegate shuttles between hotels, the convention centre, offsite venues and the airport, on a schedule you set and we keep. A 25-seat mini coach for a breakout group, a 57-seat coach for the plenary crowd, a V-Class for the keynote speaker.

Same-day excursions, week-long camps, interschool sport and formals. Coaches with seatbelts in every seat and a quote in writing the office can file. Schools need a charter operator who turns up on time, carries the right paperwork and does not surprise the business manager with a different number. Red Carpet Charters runs 25 and 57-seat coaches for excursions, camps and sport, and Mercedes-Benz Sprinters for smaller groups such as music ensembles and debating teams.

Guest shuttles running loops between the accommodation and the venue all evening, a van for the bridal party, pickups for guests flying in. A wedding in the Yarra Valley or on the Mornington Peninsula is only relaxed if nobody is working out how to get home at midnight. Red Carpet Charters runs guest shuttles on loops you set, a Mercedes-Benz V-Class for the bridal party and Sprinters for the out-of-town crowd. Our drivers already know most of the region's venues from years of wine tours.

Questions, answered

Is the price per person or per vehicle?

Per vehicle. You book the van or coach and the driver for the day or the leg, and the price is the same whether four or fourteen people climb in. That is why the cost per person falls as the group grows. Every quote goes in writing before you book, and it does not change on the day.

What vehicles do you have?

A 7-seat Mercedes-Benz V-Class, a 14-seat Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, 25-seat mini coaches and 57-seat full-size coaches. Larger groups run on more than one vehicle with the same driver team.

Do you do corporate accounts and invoicing?

Yes. Corporate and school charters are invoiced with a fixed price per vehicle and a run sheet, so the number the organiser approves is the number on the invoice.

Can you carry school groups?

Yes, in coaches with seatbelts in every seat and with a written quote for the school office. Ask for the documentation your school requires and we will send it with the quote.

Where do you pick up from?

Anywhere in Melbourne and surrounds: offices, hotels, schools, homes, both airports and multiple points if the group is spread out. Destinations can be anywhere in Victoria.

How far ahead should we book?

Saturdays from October to April go early for the bigger coaches, so give us four to eight weeks for a wedding or a whole-of-school day. Corporate transfers and airport groups can often be done with a day or two of notice. Ask and we will tell you straight away.

Are you the same company as Red Carpet Wine Tours?
